the Equinox conundrum
Tuesday I had the day off and planned to test out Equinox. My parents had received a free day pass when they checked into the NYC Marathon finish line stands and they gave them to me. I had no intention of signing up, but rather thought using their facilities would be a nice treat. Girls on the Run Manhattan 5K
This post is wicked delayed, but I’ve been busy with work, holidays, a bit of a cold and other things. The class was INCREDIBLE. Completely different than anything I had done before. Though based on yoga, the poses are different and really work your core. Rather than using weights you use your body weight. Tracey said she...

Girls on the Run Manhattan
Last night was my introduction meeting for Girls on the Run Manhattan. GOTR Manhattan is a program for girls 8-13 years old that encourages healthy living through training for a 5K race. I would love to be one of the twice weekly coaches, but they meet during office hours which doesn’t work for me. Fortunately, this season I was able to sign up as a Running Buddy. On race day I’ll be...
